NEBA First Anniversary
A special tournament to mark the first anniversary of the club was held on 4th July 2016.
11
players participated & a 5 round Swiss format was used where
players play an opponent on the same or similar score each round.
At
the end of the evening, Paul Gilbertson was the sole player on four
wins however the match between Gary Bratton & Ian Baker, both having
three wins out of four, was poised at 4-4 (to 5 points) when we had to
leave the club premises so either player could emerge as joint winner if
they finish the match.
Keith, Alan, Pol & Mike all finished on 3 points & each picked up £2.50 in prize money.
